This is it. The photographic events that Prestige held in a secluded warehouse, where they provided a spectacular setting and supplied sexy supercars, have come to an untimely end. The lease is up, quite literally, on what was hands-down the most clever way to mine for images. It will be missed, without a doubt, but as Neil Young put it best, "it's better to burn out than to fade away." And this last one certainly burned bright.
Given the space constraints, it's important to stress that it was quality over quantity. The Prestige People have perfected the art of that phrase, with three McLarens, two Lamborghinis, a Mustang, and a Sunbeam on hand to divide lens exposure between. Before I arrived, there was one additional McLaren, but it was removed in order to present it to a potential customer. Such is life when it comes to working with for-sale cars.
The atmosphere that comes from parking brightly colored modern day supercars into a dilapidated warehouse with its structure all hanging out really sets the mood for capturing some stunning images. If I had to put a number on it, I would estimate that There were at least 30 photographers and bloggers who attended, all of whom I'm sure had different interpretations of what their eyes saw. You can run the gamut of those differing perspectives by plugging in #PrestigeWarehouse into the Googlemachine. Or you can peruse my gallery HERE.
